Miami, FL — The virtual racing world is accelerating toward Miami in a big way. Popular online racing simulation iRacing confirmed that its Season 1 2026 build will include the Miami International Autodrome and the FIA-approved Cross Car as part of a content rollout scheduled for release later this year. Sim racing enthusiasts are anticipating the updates as part of one of the most substantial seasonal builds in the platform’s history.
The Miami International Autodrome (the real-world temporary circuit that winds around Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens and hosts the annual Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix) will be added to the iRacing track roster in the upcoming Season 1 2026 update.
The venue is notable for its mix of high-speed straights and technical sections, offering a distinct blend of street circuit feel and open layout that has made the real-world event a highlight on the motorsport calendar since its debut in 2022.
According to iRacing reports, multiple configurations of the Autodrome (including the full Grand Prix layout) are expected to be faithfully recreated in the simulation, allowing users to race the virtual version of the circuit in a variety of competitive settings.

In addition to the Miami track, the Season 1 2026 build will introduce the FIA-approved Cross Car to the iRacing platform. The Cross Car is designed as an entry-level off-road vehicle, with rear-engined, rear-wheel drive configurations that make it accessible yet engaging for a range of drivers.
While Level 1 Cross Cars are oriented toward younger drivers in real-world motorsport programs, the adult-spec Level 2 models (producing around 114 bhp) are expected to be the primary focus within iRacing’s virtual environments.
The inclusion of Miami International Autodrome and the Cross Car is part of a wider expansion coming with iRacing’s 2026 Season 1 build. Other new and updated content confirmed by developers includes additional track layouts and vehicles that cater to both road and dirt racing disciplines.
The build (officially released in December 2025 and ongoing into early 2026) represents one of the platform’s biggest seasonal content drops, incorporating both free and paid content for subscribers and enthusiasts.
For fans in Miami and beyond, the Autodrome’s arrival in iRacing offers a chance to virtually experience one of the region’s premier racing venues year-round. With its growing reputation in real-world motorsport and its distinct layout anchored around Miami Gardens’ sports complex, the circuit’s digital debut marks a significant moment for sim racers and automotive fans alike.
As sim racing continues to gain momentum across competitive and casual motorsport communities, additions like the Miami International Autodrome and the FIA Cross Car will shape how drivers interact with both real-world and virtual racing landscapes throughout 2026.
